STATUS SV2000 is Status’s latest vacuum packing and sealing machine. Its development is the result of many years of experience, testing, research and reviewing user opinions.

SV2000 is the machine for all salami lovers, fisherman and hunters. It is intended for households where larger amounts of dried meat products and produce from the field and garden are stored on a daily basis.

SV2000 is one of the few vacuum packing machines on the market with a double piston vacuum pump.

Description

 SV2000’s functions are similar to all Status’s vacuum packing machines:

  • Automatic vacuum packing for dried meat products and all other dried foods 
  • Manual vacuum packing for sensitive, moist food and high moisture food ­– you stop the process manually as soon as you assess that enough air has been sucked out 
  • Accessory hose for vacuum packing of Status’s vacuum containers and other vacuum accessories
  • Space for foil rolls inside the machine 
  • Integrated blade for cutting foil inside the machine 
  • Electronic system is adapted to approx. 10,000 cycles of vacuum packing 

The primary function of the machine is quality storage of food.

  • Dried meat products are particularly sensitive to external influences. By vacuum packing them when they taste the best, you preserve their quality.
  • By storing different sorts of cheese, particularly hard cheese, in vacuum bags, you preserve their original quality.
  • Shelf life of fresh foods (fruit, vegetables, meat) is extended up to four times.

By vacuum packing the food, freezing it and then defrosting it in the refrigerator, you fully preserve their quality and taste.

USAGE

Storage of dried meat products and other solid foods

  • Place the filled bag on the work surface in front of the machine and pull it into the vacuum channel so that the opening of the bag touches the gasket in the middle of the vacuum channel.
  • Close and lock the machine by pressing numbers 1 and 2 on the lid of the machine. Press the Vacuum Packing of Bags button. The bag is automatically vacuum packed and sealed.
  • The procedure is finished when the Vacuum Packing indicator goes off. Press on the middle of the red handle with your thumb and lift it. 

Vacuum packing and sealing of easily crushed foods with the manual vacuum packing function 

  • Place the filled bag on the work surface in front of the machine and pull it into the vacuum channel so that the opening of the bag touches the gasket in the middle of the vacuum channel.
  • Close and lock the machine by pressing numbers 1 and 2 on the lid of the machine. Press the Vacuum Packing of Bags/Start/Stop button.
  • Carefully monitor what is happening with the food and as soon as you assess that enough air has been sucked out of the bag, stop the machine by pressing on the same Start/Stop button.
  • The procedure is finished when the Vacuum Packing indicator goes off. Press on the middle of the red handle with your thumb and lift it.

Vacuum packing using vacuum containers and lids

  • The basic equipment of the machine also includes an accessory hose and port for vacuum packing of Status’s vacuum containers and lids. Insert the opening of the accessory hose into the accessory port on the vacuum channel.
  • Attach the accessory hose and port to the valve of the chosen vacuum container.
  • Activate the Vacuum Packing of Container switch.
  • The vacuum packing machine is programmed to stop the process automatically when it reaches the pre-set negative pressure (–500 Mbar).

Cleaning and maintenance 

SV2000 is an electric machine and needs to be disconnected from power prior to cleaning. Clean the machine with a smooth, slightly damp cloth. Keep the machine away from water.
