Culinary Tip

Use the meat tenderizer before marinating to improve the taste of meat and extend its shelf life. When marinating, we recommend you to season the meat with exquisite spices and herbs ground with Status’s spice grinder and vacuum seal the meat in Status’s vacuum container. Marinating time will be reduced to a few hours.

Marinades are usually made from vinegar or lemon juice, spices, herbs and olive oil. You can also experiment with cognac, coffee or even honey vinegar. Marinades often contain powerful antioxidants that are good for your health, strengthen the taste of food and maximize the pleasure you experience when eating.

Tip: When marinating meat of wild birds, use yogurt, since it makes the meat softer. Make sure the meat is completely covered with yogurt. Before grilling, remove excess marinade from the meat.

Status’s meat tenderizer tenderizes even the toughest cuts of meat! It is suitable for all types of meat – from pork and beef to poultry and even fish.

Main advantages of the meat tenderizer:

  • Meat is juicier. It is roasted or cooked faster.
  • Meat does not shrink. Various marinades can penetrate deeper into the meat.
  • Your kitchen counter stays clean, as the meat is being pierced (rather than beaten with ordinary meat hammers).
  • Preparing meat before roasting becomes a simple task.
  • Your neighbors will not know that you are about to feast.

Get ready for a nice picnic with your family and friends! Surprise your guests with delicious barbecued meat dishes. Since the meat is pre-marinated and therefore roasted faster, you have more time to enjoy sunny days.

Status’s meat tenderizer has 15 sharp stainless steel spikes that enhance the juiciness of meat, soften its structure and help the meat to retain its natural juices. Steaks do not curl or shrink when roasting. The meat is much tastier, since marinades can be better absorbed. Marinating is an efficient way to turn ordinary cuts of meat into a culinary delight.

The process of marinating meat of all sorts (whether fish, beef, poultry or pork) will be faster if you use Status’s meat tenderizer beforehand. Using the meat tenderizer is a natural and effective way of preparing meat before grilling, roasting or cooking.

  • Remove the protective cover from the tenderizer.
  • Place the tenderizer on the selected piece of meat and pierce it with forceful motions.
  • Meat pieces and steaks should be pierced from both sides.
  • Spices and herbs can be added before using the meat tenderizer or after.

Tip: When preparing steaks for roasting, several can be placed on top of each other and pierced at once. Therefore, the process of tenderizing meat is faster, however still efficient. The tenderizer can also be used for preparing chicken before frying, as it allows the meat to cook evenly all the way through.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Wash the tenderizer before using it for the first time. Clean it under lukewarm tap water or in the dishwasher.

When you are not using the tenderizer, keep it covered with the protective cover to prevent unnecessary cuts.

The 15 spikes are made of stainless steel and the main part of ABS plastic.
